Gillian Gibbons, whose recent sentence to 15 days in prison for allowing her students to name a class teddy bear Mohammad in her Sudan classroom, is NOW being threatened by “thousands” of Sudanese Muslims. They want her to die. FOR A $#!%! TEDDY BEAR.

I never want to hear ANYBODY gripe about American Christian activists EVER FREAKING AGAIN. You have NO idea how bad REAL religious extremist fanaticism can get. And you’d probably be the first ones up against the wall if the Religion Of Peace ™ had their way over here.

EDIT:  She’s been pardoned and sent home, where she will be safe and sound… just like Salman Rushdie.

Because of a teddy bear.

… not sure what else I could say here. If I ever get a puppy, though, I’m pretty sure what I’ll name him…

UPDATE:  Ms. Gibbons has been sentenced to 15 days in prison.  No flogging (now that the eyes of the world are on the Sudanese government.)  No word as to whether she will be allowed access to HUNNY POTS to alleviate “rumblies in her tumbly” during the time to be served.

Absolutely ridiculous.  Stupid Sudan.
