Photos from beautiful Caprock Canyons State Park

I’m giving Picasa a try.  Bear with me.

We took a fantastic field trip to Caprock Canyons near Quitaque, Texas, today.  We took manymanymany pictures of local plants, geology, wildlife, and other teachers taking pictures of stuff.

Here’s the link.  (clicky)

When I get a chance, I’ll update things with descriptions of the plants, animals, and people in each picture.  Now, however, I need to go grade/plan something, or maybe fall asleep while doing so.

I’m glad you enjoyed the trip to Quitaque. If you’re ever in need of a place to lodge in the area, or know someone who is, please consider the non-profit Padre Kino Bed and Barn just five miles from the entrance to the Caprock Canyons State Park.

    Thanks!

I’ll pass that along. Looks like a nice place to stay. (Click his name to see it, folks.) Rates are VERY do-able for SILK families like myself.
